AN ACT to amend “An act to incorporate the Chicago and Fox River Turnpike Road Company,” approved March 1st, 1837.
1Thirteenth section of act repealed
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the thirteenth section of the act, entitled “An act to incorporate the Chicago and Fox River Turnpike Road Company,” approved March 1st, 1837, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Approved 21st July, 1837.
1Joseph Naper introduced HB 20 in the House of Representatives on July 14, 1837. The House passed the bill on July 18. The Senate concurred on July 21. On July 21, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
