For an act to make an appropriation to build a Bridge across Hickory Creek on the state road leading ^from Vandalia^ to Salem. Marion Cty.
Sec[Section]. 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly That the sum of One hundred dollars be appropriated out of the funds arising from the sale of Vandalia lots in the Town of Vandalia for the purpose of building a bridge across Hickory Creek at the point where the state road leading from Vandalia to Salem crosses said Creek; said sum of money to be disbursed for the object specified, under the direction of Henry Ginger, Phillip Lester and Jefferson Hankins.
Sec. 2. Whenever the said bridge is completed and the Commissioners certify the Same to the Auditor of Public Accounts, it shall be the duty of the said Auditor, to issue his Warrant on the Treasurer payable out of the aforesaid specific fund mentioned aforesaid, to whomsoever shall be the contractor or Contractors for building said Bridge.
