Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That any patent or exemplification of any patent for land granted by the Government of the United States or of this State, shall be admitted to record in the recorders office of the county where such lands or the greater part thereof lie.
Sec 2 A duly authenticated copy of the [?] each patent, or exemplification of patents may be given in evidence in the same manner as authenticated copies of deeds.
Sec 3 Any exemplification of [?] authenticated copy of the [?] such patent or exemplification of patent, and any authenticated copy of the record of any legally authenticated deed may be read and given in evidence without the loss or destruction of the original [?] been first proved.
