Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the Mauvaisterre creek from its confluence with the Illinois river up to the Oxville bridge, in Morgan county, is hereby declared a navigable stream and a public highway; and all laws prohibiting the obstruction of navigable streams and public higways shall be deemed applicable to the said creek between the points aforesaid.
