Sec.[Section] 1st. Be it enacted by the peopl[e] of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly.
That the act entitled an act to improve the navigat[ion] of the Big Vermilion, be and the same is hereby repeal[ed]
This act to take effect from its passage.
