. . .each sheriff shall post one of said newspapers on the door of the post office, at
the county seat of his county, and each clerk shall post one of said newspapers on
the door of the court house of his county or on some conspicuous place inside of the
courthouse; the other number of the paper transmitted to the clerk shall be by him
filed and preserved in his office; and one copy of said paper shall be transmitted
to each of the clerks of the circuit court, subject to examination by any person who
may desire to examine the same. In advertisements for the sale of lands for taxes,
letters and figures may be used as they have heretofore been, to denote townships,
ranges, sections, parts of sections, the years for which taxes are due, and the amount
of taxes and costs
Sec[Section] 63 All acts, and parts of acts coming within the purview and meaning of this act,
and all laws or parts of laws heretofore passed exempting town lots and other property
in incorporated towns from taxation for State and County purposes together with, all
laws, heretofore enacted requiring merchants to obtain a licence to sell goods, are
hereby repealed. Provided, that the repeal of said act, shall in no way effect or
impair any right or interests acquired under under said act.
Sec 64. In the ^several^ counties of this state the county treasurers are hereby required to keep their offices at the county seat,
in their respective Counties.
Sec 65. The Secretary of State is hereby required so soon as this bill bill[bill] becomes a law, to have without delay as many copies of this bill printed as there
are counties within the State, and forward one copy by mail to each clerk of the several county Commissioners Courts
within this State. This act to take effect from and after its passage.
