Sec.[Section] 1. Be it Enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly. That in order to have Commerce street in Archers addition conect in a true line, and be of the same width viz Eighty feet with said naimed street in Lockport proper as laid off by the State in Will County on the Illinois and Michigan Canal, said Street in said addition is hereby laid over and permanently established twenty
feet farther west, and the land so thrown off on the East is added to the lots and
blocks on the East side of said Commerce street to inure and be the property in fee simple for ever of the present and future owners of the lots bounding on the East side of said street
Sec. 2. Green street in said addition is hereby wholly abolished and for ever vacated
and the land in said Street is added to the blocks on said street by a line in center
making all the lots in the two tier of Blocks equal in depth, Provided it shall be
incumbent on the proprietor to procure the assent in writing to said alterations from
the purchasers of lots in said addition which shall be recorded in the recorders office
of Will County, a plat shewing the alteration herein naimed may be recorded in said County.
