A Bill For an act to authorize the County Commission Courts to loan out certain funds

Sct[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly: That the Commissioners Courts of the several Counties, who have or may receive for the use of their Counties any part of the Two hundred thousand dollars required to be paid to the Counties through which no Rail Road or Canal is projected at the public expense1, by the Act, entitled An Act to establish and maintain a general System of internal improvement, approved the 27th February 1837, are hereby authorized to loan the money paid or to be paid to their Counties respectively, at an interest not exceeding twelve per centum per annum, in advance, and the power Conferred by this section shall be deemed to have existed under the provisions of the act above recited
