Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That hereafter it shall be the duty of the Commissioners appointed to take the census
of the several counties of this State in addition to the duties now required of them, to set down in a separate column,
the names of all persons who a[re] not permanent Citizens of such [C]ounty, but who, for the time [b]eing, may be engaged upon any of the public works in such County.
Sec. 2. Said Commissioners shall also set down in a separate columns the names and ages of all deaf and dumb persons residing in their
respective counties.
