Sec:[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That from and after this time it shall be the duty of any person or persons petitioning the General Assembly to change[,] alter[,] or locate a State road in any County or Counties in this state to give four weeks written notice of such proposed change[,] alteration[,] or location in four of the most public places in each County in which the proposed change, alteration[,] or location is designed to take place.
Sec [Section]2. Affidavit of such advertisements having been made according to the provisions of this act by two creditable persons before the Clerk of the County Commissioners Court shall be sufficient evidence of such advertisement when accompanied with One of such advertisements and the petition to the General Assembly.
