Lots purchased of the State in the City of Chicago in the year eighteen hundred and Thirty Six shall be entitled to possession of said
Lots and shall have a perfect Title in Law against all persons or parties except the

committee reported back the bill with an amendment as a substitute, in which the House
concurred. The House engrossed the bill, but did not read it a third time.
