Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That the corporation in the act to which this an amendment shall have two years from the time the Canal Commissioners Shall select the land as required by the act to which this is amendatory to comply on thier part with the provisions of said act Provided it shall be the duty of the Commissioners to select the land within three months from the passage of this act,
