The committee on roads to which was refered sunday[sundry] petitions praying for the establishment of state roads have examined the same, and have no evidence that the provisions of the act defining the manner of proceeding in petitioning the General Assembly for locating or altering state roads approved Feby[February] 27^th 1839 have been complied with, and your committee therefore ask to be discharged from the farther consideration of the subject.
