Resolved, That the accompanying ^Co [?] ^ a memorial, addressed to the Post Master General by certain Merchants & Traders of the city of Baltimore, be referred to the Committee of Post Offices and Post Roads, with instructions, to enquire into the expediency of so amending the existing laws for the transportation of the mails, as will allow the Post Master General to contract for extra mail service, as the interests of the Commercial Community may require.
