The Pepition of Joseph Nock of the City of Philadelphia and state of Pennsylvania.
Respectfully Represents. That your Petitioner has just and equitable claims against
the Post Office Departments for a violation of a Contract entered into between the
Post Office Department, and you Petitioner that your Petitioner has since the year
1842 been endeavering to obtain compensation for such violation but yet without success.
The Committee on claims of the first session of the 28th Congress have reported in favour of relief to your Petitioner but as yet no relief
has been obtained, your Petitioner begs have to refer your, Honourable Bodies to the
facts now on file and of Record in the House of Representatives, and as in duly bound
will ever pray.
