To the Congress of the United States your petetioners citizens of the counties of Barry Jasper & Newton respectfully represent that a mail route from Cassville the county seat of Barry County to the Town of Sarcoxsie in Jasper County would be of great publick utility and would benifit a large and inteligent population in Each County and would well pay the expence of the route The route from Cassville to Sarcoxsie would [extend?] ^intersect^ the route from Sarcoxie to Blyhes Ville in Jasper County and would thus make a Cross route Through one of the Best populated Neighbourhoods in South West Missouri
Wee therefore pray that your honerable Body will pass a law Createing such route and so as in duty Bound wee will Every pray
