To the Honorable the Senate and House of Representatives of the Congress of the United States of America.
The Undersigned residents of the Counties of Calhoun and Eaton in the State of Michigan respectfully represent that the public interests call for a mail route to be established by law leading from Marshall through the villages of Olivet and Charlotte to Michigan the capital of the State. They therefore request your Honorable body to enact a law to that effect.
