Whereas under the present arangment of the mails throug this section of Country our mail facilaties are limited & Very unregular we the undersigned would respectfully petition al To the Hon. boddy to which you belong to establish for us [...?] and the communety throug which it would run a mail line as follows to be carried on horse from Wetumpka by Nixburge, [Lockapatcy?], Youngsvill Goldville & to Wedowee, & [...?] back twice a week. & if it cant be had twice give it to us once a week the offices [...?] by which it will run pay Verry well and in Establishing the rout as proposed it will supercede the necessityes of the rout now Established from Rockford to the above named places and answer a
great [eal?] better purpose your strict attention to this petition will much oblige your numerous
friends.
