G. W. Jones,Sir,
I this morning was at the P. Office department, and after examining the map, suggest the following route as free from the objection, applicable to the first, that was proposed, viz: From Wetumpka, by the way of Nixburg, Socapatoy, & Pinkneyville, to Wedowee. The route is a very important one, to a large class of intelligent inhabitants.
Respectfully Yours &cSampson W Harris.

The route desired would pass, from Wetumpka, by Nixburg, Socapatoy, Youngville, Goldville, to Wedowee, at each of which places, an office is desired. The mail to be a semiweekly horse mail.
