To the Congress of the United States of America.
The undesigned inhabitants of Franklin and Somersett Counties in the State of Maine would respectfully represent that a mail route is very much needed between the towns of Farmington and Kingfield runing through East. Strong the towns of New-Vineyard and New Portland to Kingfield^.^ twice a week
On said route there is now a three horse coach for the accommodation of passengers runing on said route twice a week
Said route would superseed route No. 31 or the route from New vineyard to Anson which is about the same distance of miles and the expence would not be increased to the P. O. department
The undersigned would therefore respectfully request that a mail route be establised and that the mail be carried through from said F said Farmington to Kingfield twice a week leaving Farmington Tuesdays and Saturdays immediately after the arival of the Hallowell mail and carried throu^gh^ the same day and returning leave Kingfield Wednesdays and Mondays at oclock AM and that a Post Office be established at Strong to be denominated East Strong P.O. And in duty bound will ever pray
