To the Honorable the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States in Congress.
The Petition of the Undersigned Citizens of the State of Ohio, respectfully represent,
that the business at the several points between Pittsburgh in the State of Pennsylvania,
and Mansfield, in the County of Richland and State of Ohio, in the judgement of your
petitioners requires a daily Mail between said Pittsburgh and Mansfield, and your
petitioners respectively ask that a daily Mail be established between said points,
by the most eligible route. And your petitioners believe a route via Beaver, Darlington,
Palestine, Columbiana, Washingtonville, Salem, Damascus, Mt. Union, Louisville, Canton,
Massillon, Wooster and thence to Mansfield the most proper and beneficial to the public.
