Your petition of the counties of Columbiania Carroll and Tuscarawas represent that
it should add mutch to public convenience and to the [re--ence?] of the Post office department to establish a line of tri weekly two horse coaches
from Wellsville Columbiania county Ohio to New Philadelphia Tuscarawas county OhioYour Petitioners suggest that to start at Wellsville on Mondays so as to meet in Carrollton
the coaches on rout 2010, then by way of Inverness, Salemsville[,] Monroesville Scrgsfield Carrollton New Cumberland & to New Philadelphia the same day, the proposed route
will be about 10 miles shorter than the present route betwene the same points the
offices of the Leavitt & Rose will not be tutched by this route as they are boath situated a considerable distance from the mane & direct road from Carrolltan to New Philadelphia and could not be passed by Coaches
they are boath county ofices & do but vary little business and an office can be established on
the praposed route asshure the wants of the community as well as ^both^ now do by establishing the route the [ane?] from Manerva in Stark county to Wellsville will be intersected at Salemville that
mite tharefore be renewed in length the distance from Salensville to Wellsville 12
miles your petition therefore pray to said route may be established will ere pray
