Your petitioners would respectfully to honorable represent to your honorable body that they labor under a great disadvantage for want of mail rout from Tipton the County Seat of Tipton County Indiana to Strawtown in Hamilton County Indiana, Distance 13 miles. We would also petition your honorable body to grant said rout and also to establish a post office at West Kinderhook in Tipton county Ind which is immediately on the rout above proposed. We would also state that we believe said rout would be greatly to the advantage of the public. ^The mail on^ Said rout to start from Tipton on Friday and arrive at Strawtown the same day and to leave Strawtown on Saturday and arrive in Tipton on the Same day. And as in duty bound your petitioners will ever be grateful.
