The undersigned petitioners, Citizens of the Counties of Putnam, Owen, Monroe and
Lawrence in the State of Indiana—Respectfully represent that the public interest would
be promoted by Establishing a Post Rout from Putnamville in Putnam County to Springville in Lawrence County—touching at the
^following^ intermediate points to—wit The Cataract Mills, Spencer ^and^ White Hall in Owen County, and Stanford in Monroe Couty. They therefore pray the Establishment of Said Rout. December 13th 1847
