We the undersigned being citizens of shady valley in Johnson county Ten [:?] take this method of communicating to your honor our desires relative to the propriety
of establishing a mail route from Taylorsville (by way of Shady) Johnson county to
Papersville in Sullivan county a distance of about Thirty miles
We humbly request you as our representative, to lend your servises and influence in behalf of the proposed mail route. in doing so you would confer
a favor on a portion of your constituents, and friends.
