To the Honourable the Senate and house of Representatives in Congress Assembled
Your Petitioners beg leave to represent that it would conduce to the public good if a Mail Route were Established commenceing at the Town of ^Tiffin^ Van Buren in the County of ^Seneca^ Hancock and State of Ohio runing West ^throug^ ^h^ the Townships of Portage & Pleasant in said County on the Van Buren [...?]Independence and ^&^ Ridgeville free turnpike to Defiance In the County of Defiance said Route will intersect a portion of the Counties of Putnam and Henry in parts of the same which as well as as Hancock have No post Routs. We therefore ask your Honorable Body to grant the prayer of Your Petitioners
