The Petition of sundry Citizens of the counties of Carroll Paulding, and Heard in the State of Georgia Respectfully Showeth to your Honorable Bodies that we labor under many inconveniences for the want of the following mail Routes and Respectfully ask the establishment of the same at the present session of Congress and your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray to wit,
1st From Carrollton Ga to Franklin Ga ^2356 old^ 30 miles and return once a week, Leave Carrollton on Mondays at 5 oclock AM. pass Laurel Hill at 8. AM and arrive at Franklin at 6 P.M. Leave Franklin on Tuesdays at 5 P AM. Pass Laurel Hill at 3 PM and arrive at Carrollton at 6 P.M.
2nd From Carrollton Ga to VanWert Ga 33 miles and return once a week, ^3331 old^ Leave Carrollton on Thursdays at 5 oclock A.M. and arrive at VanWert same days at 6 P.M. Leave VanWert on Fridays at 5 oclock AM and arrive at Carrollton same days at 6 P.M.
