We the undersigned petioners, resident citizens of the Counties of Lucas and Henry, state of Ohio, Would Solicet your honor^able body^ to Establish a mail route, Commencing at Waterville Lucas. Co. and running on the State road. to Harvey Kimbers (4 miles) and there Establish a P.O. from thence on Said road (12 miles) to Elleserlie, Henry Co. & there Establish a P. Office, from thence on Said road to Turkey foot. Henry Co. & there Establish a P. Office, that has some time Since been discontinued, from thence [...?] on popler ridge to Ridgeville P.O. Henry Co. from thence to Evensport P.O. Defiance Co. from thence to Bryan P.O. the County Seat of Williams the termination of Said route. as your petioners will in duty bound ever pray &c &c.
