To theTo the Hon Senate and House of Representatives, of the United States.
The undersigned inhabitants of the counties of Will and Iroquois, in the state of Illinois, beg leave respectfuly to represent that the want of mail facilities on the south side of the Kankakee and Iroquois rivers is a serious inconevience to the inhabitants in this district who have formed numerous and dense settlements and many of whom have to travel ten or fifteen miles to reach a Post[...?] Office and to cross the rivers above named which is often impossible, your petitioners therefore pray that a Post Route be established from Wilmington in Will county Illinois by the ^way^ of Horse-creek, Andrew Yeates, Hawkins settlement Sammons’s and Spring creek, to Middleport, in the county of Iroquois, and your petioners as in duty bound will ever pray
