The Undersigned Citizens of the State of Iowa would respectfully represent to your
Hon. Bodies that the public interests of the State require a post route through said
State commencing at Fort Madison, thence via West Point & Lowell to Mt Pleasant thence along the Military Road via Crawfordsville Iowa Cty and other intermediate
points on said Road to Dubuque They therefore pray your Hon. Bodies to establish said
Route and as in duty bound will ever pray &c.
