We the citizens of Hamilton and Columbia Florida and Camden County Georgia Humble
petition to your Hon’l body for a mail rout to pass from Jasper, Hamilton County via Blount Ferry Rolinson
Ferry to Centre village FFrom the many reasons here and after mentioned whereas the Citizen in the vicinity
of Rolinson Ferry are destitude of Receiving any information By the mail from [Being?] so far from any office Centrevillage Bing the nearest Post office which at the distance
of Thirty five miles There is many Citizens of Columbia County who are destitute of
Receing any information by the mail Blount Ferry being the nearest office to them
which at the distance of forty mils Also the Citizen of Hamilton County may Be Greatly
Benfited By the afforesaid mail Routs. as they will receive the Northern mail Eight
days in advance of any other Rout which is now carried also the Citizens of Camden
Geo. in the vicinty of Centrevillage may derive great Benefit from the afforesaid
Routs as They will Receive the western mail Ten days in advance of any other rout
Your petitioner prays that your Honl body would take into consideration the

several Benefit which they may Receive by a mal rout passing as afforesaid from Jasper
Hamilton County Flo. via Blount’s Ferry Rolinson’s Ferry to Centrevillage Geo
And pass an act for the mail to be Carried once a week from Jasper via the afforesaid
places to centre village Geo Which will Be greatly to the Binifit of your petitioner
