we your petitioners of Winebago of the County of Burow County and State of Illinois would beg leave to represent that we Suffer great inconvenience
and privations for the want of a Mail route commencing at Perue in the State of Illinois
(via) Princeton, Winebago, York Town—Washington Street, Benington, Crandalls Ferry
from thence passing down Rock River on the north Side to Atica Fairport, Gortons Grove,
Pleasant Vally, to Rock Island we would further represent that this Section of Country
above mentioned is nearly all destitute of Mail facility and nearly all of the route
a well populated Country. we tharefore ask for the above mentioned Mail route to be
Established and your Petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray
