To the Hon Sennate and House of representatives in Congress assembled
we your Petitioners of Princeton in the State of Illinois would respectfully represent
that we suffer great inconvenience and privations for the want of a Mail route from
Perue in the State of Illinois (via) Princeton. Winebago York Town Washington Street,
Bennington, Crandalls Ferry from thence down Rock River to Attica, Fairport Gortons
Grove Pleasant Vally to Rock Island we would further represent that this Section of
country is nearly all destitute of any, Mail facility and nearly all of this route
a well populated Country we tharefore ask for the Establishment of said route and
your Petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray
