We the petitioners of Montgomery Calaway & Audrain Counties and State of Missouri do pray your Honorable Body for a Mail Rout, from Danville (Montgomery county) to Mexico (Audrain county) we pray for a weekly Mail on the State Road leading by Richd P. Adam’s of Audrain and we pray Your Honorable Body to Establish post Office at the House of Richard. P. Adams and appoint the said R P Adams Post master as we labor under many disadvantages we ask of your Honorable Body to establish the said Rout as our Letters & newspapers go to Fulton Calaway county and there Remain two or three weeks before we can get them therefore in confidence of Redress we your humble petitioners will ever pray &c
