Big Creek Mi To the Senate & House of Representatives in Congress assembled
We the undersigned petitioners pray your Honorable boddy to establish by enactment a post rout from Hopewell to Coffeville the distance is about thirty six miles, The rout we propose to the deliberation of your Honorable ^Boddy^ will pass Big Creek then to Jones’s Mills thence to Coffeville which is the most practable, an act if passed by your Honors for the proposed rout would give such mail facilities as we wish and the growing importance of our country require, we would further pray your Honors to consider our rights, in consideration of which we hope you will grant our petition, for which we would ever pray
