To the Honourable the Senate and House of Representatives of the Congress of the United States
We the undersigned your petitioners Citizens of Oseola St Clair Co. Mo: and vicinity would respectfully represent to your honourable Body that [...?] we labour under many inconveniences for mail facilities at this place, and would ask the establishment of a Mail Route from this Place (Oseola) to Hermitage the County Seat of Hickory County Missouri, via Quincy Hickory County Missouri, distance Twenty Five Miles from Oseola, the establishment of this Route and service thereon twice a week would greatly add to the mail facilities of this place, and would therefore ask your Honourable Body to establish said Route, and as in duty bound would ever pray &c
