To the Senate & House of Representatives in Congress assembled
We the undersigned would respectfully represent, that the public interest requires
the establishment of a Post road from Blanchard to Wilson in the County of Piscataquis
State of Maine, the distance of which is five miles, that by establishing this as
a Post road a mail route will be formed from Augusta to Greenvill that will shorten
the distance ten miles as it is, at present carried.
