To the Honorable the Senate and house of Representatives of the United States in Congress
assembled,
The undersigned Your memorialists would respectfully represent, that the public interest
would be verry much advanced by establishing a mail route from Dorr McHenry County Illinois, thence to Hebron and thence to Richmond in said County, at
that place to Connect the Wheeling and Geneva Lake route a distance of about twelve
miles, The route proposed would be a Cross route, and would pass through a highly
fertile and densely populated section of Country where the inhabitants are to a great
extent deprived of any mail facilities whatever, and it is presumed would be of no
expense to the Government of the United States.
Respectfully Submitted.Names | Names |
