after my Best respects I can inform you that I am well and family and hope these Lines
may find you in good Health and prepared for any action which you are called upon
to perform in discharge of your official functions. I have Been requested By a great
many of the citizens of Gabriels Creek Bull Creek and Walnut Creek to write to you
as our official organ to get a Post Route from Daniel Carters P. M. by the way of
My house on Gabriels Creek and [Love Baleys?] on Whiteoak Creek [?] By the Way of Bull Creek, and Walnut Creek ^and Brush Creek^ to the Warm Springs it will be a route that can be performed in two Days passing
through a Large Territory with a great many inhabitants Living at a great Distance
from any P, O, without the circulation of Even a newspaper in many Parts of it Passing
through a territory of at Least 200, voters a great many of Whom are your Supporters
and Living so verry Distant that not even a newspaper is in circulation through the whole Territory[.] I want you to write to me soon how to proceed and assist us in getting our route
in operation[.] write to me soon if I can get 200 Signers to a petition[.] if required I can also give you a Geography of the country or any thing Else requested
