Hon. Sir
As there was a special mail rout granted in the summer of /47 while Congress was not in cession, from Farmers Creek by [Ruralvale?] Campbells Corners &c to Pontiac and which we think will be an important Route ( is now in successful operation) it is the wish of community that the same be established by law. And as there has been a communication addressed to P. O. Department on the subject we would Respectfully ask your attention to the concern if consistant. For particulars in reference to said Rout would refer to petitions & diagram sent to Department last summer, Any thing further necessary on our part please inform.
