We the subscribers residing between Chicago and Ottawa Illinois on a route north of the Michigan and Illinois Canal on which route are many Post Offices Do. petition your honor to establish a mail route direct from Chicago to Ottawa twice or three times a week. Through Flagg Creek, Cass. Long John, Plainfield, Plattville, and Lisbon to Ottawa.
