an office is now in full opperation, then passing the court-house Establish an office at Hickmans 10 miles from the court-house, from Hickmans to Samuel Givens 10 miles Farther in the Stroud Glades 15 and on the leading road from Nicholis court-house to the county cite of Randolph & Pokhontas ^& then to Randolph & back the same way.^
If a mail route be Established as above indicated the carrier being required to deliver the mail once a week going & the same returning many will be afforded facilities who are now Entirely destitute and who in concequence thereof never subscribe to a newspaper, and who with the proposed facility would Eagerly become subscribers to papers, Beleiving that such a route would be general blessing and at the same time cost the department but little.
