Hon. John Wentworth:
We your petitioners, inhabitants of Wallingford and vicinity would respectfully ask your aid in establishing a Mail route, leading from Blue-Island passing Coopers Grove, Chelsea, this place, Rockville^Wallingford & Bloomsville^, to Bulbonia Grove, in Will Co, a distance of about forty five miles; with service at least once a week each way.
We would respectfully represent that this is a route much needed by us, and will no doubt eventually give a revenue to the department.
It is a route too, which in no way conflicts with any other route now established by Congress.
All of which is respectfully submitted.
