We the undersigned most respectfully represent to his Excellency that we are for having a P O established conveanent for us. The Rout that we wish to establish does not interfere with other Routs. Their is no other Rout within five M S of it. We think their is ample buisness on the Rout to Support it without anny detriment to the Goverment it will also accomodated a great number of Inhabitants that are not benefitited at all by anny Office at present. The Offices at present being too remote for the inhabitants to take Papers. The Route that we wish your Honor to establish is from Waynsvill DeWit County through the south West corner of McLane County to Dillon in Tazewell County of of the State of Illinois To mak one Office at Mt Hope McLain County To appoint Shepheard E Kenyan P. M. Another Office at Hittles Grove to Appoint Hezekiah Armington P M Another Office at Mackinaw Point to Aappoint E T Orendorff P. M. Making three new Offices on the Route, The distance from Waynsvill to M^t Hope is six Milels, From Mt Hope to Hittles Grove Six M. S. From Hittles Grove to Mackinaw Point Nine M. S. From Mackinaw Point to Dillon Six M. S. Making the distance of the Rout Twenty eight M S
