We, your petitioners, ^citizens^ living near the proposed route believing that it is the best and most eligible post
route that can be established for our accommodation, humbly pray that a the following route and Offices may be established viz. Beginning at ^Twelve^ Rock Run P. O. Stephenson Co. Ill. ^mile Grove thence past Ava post office.^ Thence running northward through Walnut Grove Spring Grove to intersect the Monroe
& Janesville road at Decatur P. O. Thence to Exeter Green Co. Wis. passing near Thompson’s
Store.
