The petition of the undersigned respectively represent that their interest and convenience require the location of a mail line from Chili (2085) in Coshocton Co. O.) to Bakersville 8 miles Buckhorn 5 miles Portwashington 5 miles Gilmore 5 miles Cadwallader 7 (2104) miles 30 miles, once a week leave Chili Every Friday ^8^ a.m. arive at Cadwallader same day 7 p.m. leave Cadwallader every Saturday 8 a.m arive at Chili Same day 7 p.m. and further pray for an office to be established at Gilmore called Gilmore post office and that John A Bates is a suitable person for P. M. your petitioners there pray that the proper steps may be taken to establish said line and we will ever pray.
