Resolved By the General Assembly of the State of Iowa That our Senators and Representatives
in Congress are hereby requested to use their influence for the Establishment of a
mail rout from Fort Des Moines, Polk County via the Rapids on the Des Moines river in Boon County to the East or Boon Fork of the
Des Moines river in the State of Iowa
Resolved That the Secretary of State is hereby instructed to forward a copy of these
Resolutions to our Senators and Representatives in congress
