Joint Resolution. for the Carrying of the Mail
Resolved By the General Assembly of the State of Iowa That our Senators in Congress
be instructed and our Representatives be requested to procure the carriage of the
Mail on rout (No (4554) from Du Buque to Iowa City in this State, three times per week in two horse
carriages
Resolved That the Secretary of State be hereby required to forward one copy of the
above Resolution to each of our Senators and Representatives in Congress and one copy
to Hon Cave Johnson Post Master General
