Joint Resolution for a Mail Route from Bellview in Jackson County to Independence
in Buchanan County
Resolved by the General assembly of the state of Iowa
That our Senators and Representatives in Congress are hereby requested to use their
influence in procuring the establishment of a Mail rout from the town of Bellview via Kiesters, Andrew, Hazens Mill, Nicholas, Potters, Canton, Edenburg and Anamasa the
county seat of Jones county and Independence the county Seat of Buchanan county
And that his Excellency the Governor be and is hereby requested to forward a copy
of this resolution to each of our Senators and Representatives in congress and to
the Post master General
