We The undersignd Citizens Residing on The proposed mail rout from Hopewell Post office in Bedford county by passing by the Broadtop Post office & Cassville Post office in Huntingdon County to the Millcreek Post office in Huntingdon County and ^the^ State of Pennsylvania
Your Pettitioners Respectfully Show that said Rout will connect in a mesure the Southern & Northern Rout of Turnpike and pass through a part of Bedford & Huntingdon counties which Heretofore has never had any of the advantages from mail communication which is a Populous section of country and the Pettitioners believe said Rout will ^pay^ all Expences—without any incumbrance to the Department which said Rout will not Exceed Thirty three Miles passing two Post offices already Established
Your Pettitioners Respectfully ask the consideration of the Department in this Matter & will Ever pray &c &c
